The 300 year old city tower (Tower City) is located on Nan Dajie, also known as South Street. This is the tallest building in the old town. The paintings and decorations date back to the time of the early Qing Dynasty (1644 to 1912). Unfortunately, you can no longer climb the tower, but it is still worth a photo stop.
