Backpacker paradise Khao San Road is a well known place for everyone who ever visited Bangkok. Cultures melt together and partying never stops. ‘You love it or you hate it’, but backpackers can not escape this because here you will find the cheap guest houses and plenty of other travelers. For many travelers, this is their starting-or-end point of their trip through Thailand or all of South-East Asia.
Bars and street food
Khao San Road is bustling with people, tuk-tuks, street vendors, souvenir stalls, bars, street food carts, live music and shops. It is the only street where you spontaneously might know the person you bump into.
Halfway down the street, you can enter a narrow alleyway to Rambuttri Road. This street is parallel to Khao San Road and offers even more guesthouses and cafes, but is just a little friendlier. Definitely worth a visit.
