Worth mentioning because we were surprised to encounter a real Dutch cafe in the center of Ulaanbaatar. Café Amsterdam can be visited for sandwiches and a Dutch cup of coffee. The Dutch owner is married to a Mongolian and in the back of the cafe, he runs a travel for agency tours in Mongolia.
To be honest, we were expecting a somewhat more Dutch theme in a cafe with this name. But it’s worth it to pop over for a cup of coffee and a sandwich.
Location: located on Peace Avenue, near the intersection with the street Baruun Selbe Gudamj. Not far from the State Department Store.
