Also recommended are the eateries with barbecue, where you can create your own side dish from a sort of buffet. In most stalls you can see the food being fresh and plates are covered with foil.

That does not always mean that you know what you eat, with hilarious English translations as “The oil meat Kao Lao Lao ye,” “Fatty intestine fried bowl bald” and “Bowl of bald spicy pot characteristics.
