Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin is the former canteen of the Shell (between 1941 and 2011), in which now a bar-restaurant is located. It serves small tapas-style dishes from all over the world. Tolhuistuin is part of a cultural foundation, which also includes poptemple Paradiso. Movies, performances and other art forms regularly are on show here. Directions to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin is situated right opposite Amsterdam Central Station, on the other side of the IJ. At the rear of the Central Station, take the free ferry to Buiksloterweg. The ferry runs every 5 minutes and within 3 minutes you sail to the other side.
